Race synopsis: Towards rear of midfield, carried left after 1F, headway on outer 2F out, ridden and ran green 1F out, ran on well towards near side and went second towards finish, eyecatcher.

Lakota Seven (IRE) is a son of Sioux Nation, winner of the G1 Phoenix Stakes, 6F, Curragh, from Beckford, Actress, U S Navy Flag etc. Sioux Nation also won the G2 Norfolk Stakes, 5F, Royal Ascot, from Santry & Cardsharp and his maiden going 6F at Cork, by 3¾ lengths from Yulong Warrior & Drombeg Dream. At 3, Sioux Nation won the G3 Lacken Stakes, 6F, Naas, by 1¼ lengths from Fleet Review & Speak In Colours. He was also third in the G1 Flying Five Stakes, 5F, Curragh, beaten ¾ length by Havana Grey & Son Of Rest.

Lakota Seven (IRE) is eligible for the Goffs Million, a million-euro two-year-old race exclusive to Goffs Orby yearlings to be run over 7F on Saturday, September 24, 2022. With the prize fund guaranteed by Goffs and paying to 10th place, the Goffs Million will be Europe’s richest two year old race.
In addition, if the winner of the 2022 Goffs Million subsequently wins a Group 1 race as a three year old in Ireland, UK, France, USA or Australia, the winning owner will receive a €100,000 bonus from Goffs.
