Star of Shanghai's half-brother Mindframe (by Constitution) was a $600,000 yearling purchase by Repole/St. Elias.
Highly hyped for his debut on the Florida Derby undercard, he won by 13-3/4 lengths going 7 furlongs for Repole/St. Elias and Todd Pletcher, earned a 103 Beyer Speed Figure and was named a TDN Rising Star!
That 103 Beyer is the third fastest by a 3YO this year behind only Fierceness and Nysos, and it's the second fastest figure of '24 under 1 mile!
Star of Shanghai is also a half-sister to the black-type placed $224,031 earner Hollywood Walk (still active), and to '24 winner Starstreet (an $80,000 yearling buy). Dam has a Maclean's Music 2YO, bred to Jack Christopher for '24, and booked to Constitution for '25.
