Celebration won at two in her second start by 7 lengths in a MSW in
California. She continued straight through to an allowance race on January
29 at Santa Anita. She was given a rest at the farm and came back in an
allowance race on October 6, 2023. This was her first race on the turf and
she ran a very close and impressive third, but was disqualified and placed
eighth.
- Soon after, the owner decided to
sell his racehorses and she was sent to Kentucky to sell at the
Fasig-Tipton Sale in February 2024. She was bought by the trainer and
returned to California where she ran a promising second on June 8 in her
first race back.
- We believe the filly truly excels
on the grass, as her turf race was quite extraordinary.
