Katie's Checkride broke her maiden by open lengths going 6-1/2 furlongs on dirt in maiden special weight company, and was also placed at 1-1/16 miles on turf.
She is the first foal out of a young Medaglia d'Oro dam whose second foal is also already a winner. Dam's pipeline includes a 2YO filly by Goldencents, a yearling colt by Practical Joke, and a filly of '24 by Maxfield.
