• Three-year-old Kentucky-bred colt by Omaha Beach is a multiple stakes winner and multiple graded stakes placed earner this year of over $620,000! He is just now rounding into his best form, with several important and valuable racing opportunities on the horizon in both the US and the Middle East.  His two most recent starts have yielded career high Beyer Speed Figures and he has paired career high 8 ¼ Ragozin Figures.

•  Last out, in a very competitive renewal of the (G3) Oklahoma Derby, E J Won the Cup closed on slow fractions to narrowly miss the victory garnering a 98 Beyer for that effort.  Two starts back, in the St. Louis Derby, he took total control of the race from start to finish, producing a career best 101 Beyer and setting a stakes record.

• Earlier this year, E J Won the Cup won his stakes debut in the Turf Paradise Derby by 3 ½ lengths. Next out, he was thrown into deeper water in the Gr. 1 Santa Anita Derby next out and ran a very strong third. He then shipped to Texas for the $300,000 Texas Derby and showed a different dimension closing strongly to win by one length, with another six lengths back to the third-place finisher.
