From the immediate family of 6 times graded stakes placed She’s Cheeky.
Well balanced filly, with a great presence, standing 15.3/16 hands. She is correct and has a good athletic stride.
Consistent speed figures, 85-90-90-90!!!!
Dual winner at 2. Won her maiden easily at Churchill at first asking. She came back to win the Untapable Stakes at the Fair Grounds by daylight. This meant she had earned 10 KY Oaks points.
At 3, she came back to run an unbelievable 2nd to La Cara in the Suncoast Stakes. Overcoming a terrible start, which left her 10 lengths last, she showed true determination to eventually make it back to the pack and maneuver through the field to claim the runners up position.
Her last start was just two weeks ago in the G2 Fairgrounds Oaks, which she ran a very game race, she contested the lead turning for home but drifted in the lane to finish 5th. She earned another 10 points in the G2 Fairgrounds Oaks which puts her total to 30 points and currently ranked 16th for the KY Oaks. After the race, it was discovered that she had chipped her knee and ankle.
The owner decided not to have them removed and thus she retired sound and can be inspected here in Versailles.
