Sherif Ali ran 12/7 in an AOC at Woodbine going 6 1/2 furlongs, finishing a very good second.  He broke poorly and then was checked at 5/8’s pole and still had enough to clear the field in the stretch for a strong finish in only his second start. 

Sherif Ali won at first asking in a maiden/optional claiming at Woodbine on 10/26, drawing off by over three lengths.   

He is a registered KY bred and could work well at Turfway this winter.   

Eligible for a starter coming out of that race.    

Last worked a half mile 11/30 at Woodbine.  

American Pharoahs have proven themselves on all surfaces and this colt looks like he would especially appreciate a wet track.
